Wear it when it’s hot as your only layer, when it’s cold as a base layer and everything in between. One thing I cannot stress enough though is this. Do NOT dry your merino gear in a clothes dryer. Hang it outside or lay flat to dry and it’ll last much much longer. It’s not cotton or polyester it’s much better and should be treated as such. Awesome shirt.Upgraded merinoGood quality soft
