   Fingertips will get cold. Have used these under my work gloves in 5 degree weather, and it helped. Also, if I'm using a metal cutting torch, I don't need to use the big uncomfortable cowhide gloves to protect my hands from getting burnt by flying sparks. For some reason if I wear these under my $3 work gloves, I just never get burnt by sparks. Just dont pick hot pieces up with them though. I rode in the cold weather with the window dont and my hands stayed warm. It's just after prolonged exposure to the cold will your fingertips become very cold. They're REALLY tight, and I have boney hands and I got a medium. Definitely size up. But I keep the extra tight ones because they fit under my work gloves just barely.

   Seem split after a few hours of wear

   Gloves are comfortable but started splitting at the seam on the first wear. 2 inch gap. Poor quality and I would expect more out of Sitka.

   It’s a gift for my son . There’s nothing to it. I thought it would be heavier weight than it is. More protective against the elements is what I wished for, but didn’t get. He could wear those under his real gloves maybe but why would you need them then?

   Update.....wore them yesterday while out target shooting. Not warm. May be fine if moving around, but i was shooting off a bench. These will be a no go for me when still hunting in the cold. Will have to keep looking

   I needed a pair of cold weather gloves and I love sitka products so I thought I would give these a try. I was looking for something that would keep my hands warm. I was not concerned with the thickness. I would not call these gloves cold weather gloves, but rather cool weather gloves. I still like the gloves because they are thin and still fairly warm (ideal for shooting without taking the off), but don't make the mistake of buying them for "cold weather". I am still in search of some cold weather gloves.

   I have a ton of Sitka gear and every single piece has exceeded expectations. However, these gloves let me down. Put them on, and in 10 seconds you will know why: Seams. For some reason these gloves have excessive seams and they are in the inside of the glove which create pressure points all over your hand and fingers. The make the gloves very uncomfortable to wear and to use in the field. I turned them inside-out and then they felt ok but that defeats the purpose! I also spent about 1/2 hour trimming the extra fabric on each seam, which was excessive. This helped somewhat but not enough for me to want to use them.
   
   The search for high quality thin gloves continues.

   Product runs small so size up but this seems to be consistent with Sitka gear in general. I was also looking for more of a substantial glove for cold weather hunting, which this is not. I purchased it to fit over the Sitka Fanatic Glove, which it does but barely. Actually too snug to be practical. Graphics and quality are great but it didn't meet my expectations. Submitted 3 stars in part because this is also what you get from on line shopping without actually seeing the product you are buying. Buy for Fall or Spring but something else for winter.
