    These gloves are great for keeping the bugs off as well as keeping thorns and pricks from your hands while transitioning through thicker brush the cut off finger and thumb make for an excellent tactile feel when using with a bow release or a rifle. This is my third pair and I will continue to buy more.

    I got these gloves for whitetail archery and spring turkey hunting. They are warmer than I was expecting with their fuzzy lining, but that’s a positive. I love that only the index finger tip and thumb tip are exposed for maximum concealment, but why does Sitka have to put such a large and visible orange logo on the top of the hand?!?! I’m sure there are folks out there who have harvested tons of turkey with them, but if you hunt turkey you know that they have quite possibly the best eyesight in the animal kingdom, so why do that?!?! Anyway, the orange marking is the only negative.

    These aren’t super warm gloves, but enough to take the chill off on a brisk day. They are super comfortable, though they run a bit large (I am an XL in Under Armour gloves and a Medium in these). The only improvement I wish they would make is to only cutoff the thumb and index finger on the trigger/release hand. It would be great if you had to select left/right and one glove was normal full coverage. Still, like everything Sitka does, well worth the price and very high quality.

    They are nice gloves for archery season when the temp isnt too low and exactly what i would expect for $25. the problem is they are asking a premium price for a basic pair of gloves that are made of no frills materials. I will continue to wear and enjoy them but when they wear out i would not replace at the current price unless nicer materials started being used.

    This is my 2nd pair of these gloves. 1st pair i had for several years before the material wore thru on 1 of the fingers. I liked them so much I ordered another pair. Do not expect these to be cold weather gloves. Very little insulation but comfortable.

    I absolutely hate these gloves. I’ve hunted maybe a dozen times with these and the stitching is beginning to fail. I hunt with a hinge, so having the thumb and index finger cut out is fairly useless to me. The material isn’t stretchy like a glove of this type should be. So they feel kind of baggy. The open finger holes let a lot of cold air in. The band around the wrist of the glove doesn’t stretch. So you have to fight your hand in and out of them. I usually have to take them off to shoot because the material is so slippery my bow grip slides in my hand.

    I was actually dragging a deer out last week and had to take these off because the legs kept sliding out of my hands. I love Sitka but man I wish they’d come up with a good bow hunting glove.

    Have yet to use these in the field but first impressions are good. These gloves feel good on your hands and can tell they will be great for whitetail hunting. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because these run super small. I had to order an extra large. Another negative of these gloves is there is no elasticity when initially sliding your hand into the glove which makes it kind of difficult and uncomfortable. Once you get past that point and get your hands on them they are awesome.

    These gloves are thick enough to provide warmth in extreme cold weather while drawing the bow but not too thick to hender my shot. Love the cut out on the index and thumb. I usually do not spend ridiculous $$$ on certain clothing items but I decided to give these a try after a friend told me he really liked these gloves. Are they worth $40?? I have to say no. I think the price would be more feasible at $20. But since I can't find any other gloves that are similar I decided to purchase these gloves.

    These gloves are great, just like all of the Sitka gear that I have. I noticed that they are quite tight to get on, but once you pass them over your palms, the fit great. It's true that they are quite thin, so they won't keep your hands toasty warm on late-season sits, but they are at least warm for their weight. I like having my index fingers and thumbs exposed for using a cell phone, or for better feel on a trigger, etc. I would recommend these gloves, with the caveat that you will have to have another means of keeping your hands warm when it's very cold.

    I can't speak highly enough of Sitka gear! I have their base layers, gloves, balaclava, hat, shirt, stratus jacket and stratus pants in the elevated ii pattern. The deer have so much trouble seeing me and the gear that has gore tech in it stops the cold wind from penetrating. Everything has been worth the price tag in my opinion. I love that they have tall sizes everything fits perfectly which is unusual for me since I'm tall (6' 2") and skinny.

    Edit: 12-15-2020... the seams on the side of the glove for my left hand split open. I contacted customer service and my interactions went smoothly they asked for some photos. After they reviewed the photos they sent me a new pair :)

    I wore these gloves for two entire seasons now, and I couldn't be happier! They are the perfect combination of having a lightweight early season glove, but still retaining the dexterity and convenience of not wearing gloves. Using a phone or other electronics, even with "touchscreen gloves", are still a pain; but not with these gloves! I wear these for the entire season, using a hand muff with some hand warmers in the late season. I like to wear lightweight gloves throughout the entire year, and these are the best of the best! I used them very roughly for two years now, and they still look basically brand new! When it comes to quality, function, and looks, you can't do any better than Sitka.

    Solid set of gloves, the material is rather thin and doesn't offer much in terms of warmth but that is to be expected. I've worn these gloves all bow season in NY from hot days to cold days and they preform well in all conditions.

    As a bow hunter, these gloves offer plenty of dexterity and an added benefit is that you can use your phone easily with these gloves on those long sits. I keep my hands warm with a hand muff and hand warmers.

    Best gloves I own. I always take a pair of cold weather gloves out with me, but these are the only ones I wear when I'm out moving around hunting or hiking. There is nothing worse than fumbling around with gear in thick gloves. These make it possible to mess around with your phone, different mouth calls, walkie talkies, or whatever you need to use your hands for while still staying warm and camouflaged.

    They're great for treestand hunting through the most of the season here in the Midwest. I would like to see a little more support on the palms because hanging my stands over and over again (run and gun in the Lone Wolf) is showing some wear and tear. Other than that, they're excellent.
